Greetings Golfers and Friends,
Welcome back! We are pleased to see new faces as well as all who are returning from “the North” to your “winter” residences and are now enjoying a few rounds of golf at Polo Park East Golf Club.
We hope that everyone enjoyed a safe and healthy summer and we look forward to seeing you soon. As a reminder, we offer 3 month, 6 month and 12 month memberships. All prices include tax and trail fees! As always, we offer daily play to all golfers. Green fees include your taxes and golf cart. We are seeing more play on the course, which is in fantastic condition
due to the hard work and effort by the maintenance and grounds staff; Rick Ballard, Superintendent, Jeremy Soto, Grounds Assistant and the maintenance team; Harold Hennen and Floyd Kolb, who are both truly “jack of all trades”. Thank you!
If you haven’t seen the extensive renovation to the pro shop, be sure to stop in. Many hands were involved in the construction process including; Don Cook, LC Hatley, Joe Yoeger and Steve Kallberg. “R.J.” Jordan, Director of Golf and “A.J.” Hawley, Pro Shop Manager, did the finishing touches with design, wall texture and paint. The pro shop also has some new merchandise, PPE logo gear and some new faces. Please stop in and say hello to our pro shop team; Barb Taylor, Nancy Burns and Pat Sterrick.
ONGOING AND UPCOMING EVENTS at PPEGC
TEAMS and SCRAMBLES
For many of you who are members of Polo Park East Golf Club, you may have experienced and enjoyed our Men’s and Ladies Club and Scrambles. The PPE Men’s Club plays every Monday and Friday at 7:45 a.m. Not a member, no problem, as we have Men’s and Ladies Scrambles for all golfers! The Men’s Scramble is every Wednesday and Saturday and the Ladies Scramble is every Tuesday and Thursday (Ladies have two groups: 9 hole or 18 hole) Scrambles have a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.-be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
After your game, enjoy a beverage, relax and tell some tall tales about your game under our pro shop patio over looking Memory Lake!

NOVEMBER “MOM & POP” ON NOVEMBER 15th
Guys and gals! You and your partner team up for an 18 hole scramble. Start time is 8:00 a.m. but be sure to arrive early to sign in and pair up with other teams for a great morning on the course. Coordinators of the “Mom & Pop”; Don and Judy Cook, always add a fun surprising twist to the scramble! Start thinking up your team name!
